Permanent traffic order

Notice is hereby given that Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council propose to make the following Traffic Regulation Order in accordance with the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

(Meadow Lane, Ellesmere Port) (Prohibition of waiting) Order 2018

The effect of the Order will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths of road:
  • Meadow Lane, Ellesmere Port (north side) – from a point 200 metres east of its junction with Station Road for a distance of 27 metres in an easterly direction
  • Meadow Lane, Ellesmere Port (north side) – from a point 264 metres east of its junction with Station Road for a distance of 222 metres in an easterly direction
  • Meadow Lane, Ellesmere Port (south side) – from a point 211 metres east of its junction with Station Road for a distance of 293 metres in an easterly direction
The Order will also prohibit waiting between the hours of 7pm and midnight and the hours of midnight and 7am on all days on the following lengths of road:
  • Meadow Lane, Ellesmere Port (north side) – from a point 32 metres east of its junction with Station Road for a distance of 54 metres in an easterly direction
  • Meadow Lane, Ellesmere Port (north side) – from a point 227 metres east of its junction with Station Road for a distance of 37 metres in an easterly direction
  • Meadow Lane, Ellesmere Port (east side) – from a point 485 metres east of its junction with Station Road to its southerly end
  • Meadow Lane, Ellesmere Port (west side) – from a point 504 metres east of its junction with Station Road to its southerly end
Full details of the proposals are in the draft Order which, together plans showing the extent of the proposals may be examined at the Council’s Locality Office, Ellesmere Port Library, Floor 2, Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, CH65 0BG between the hours of 9am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

All objections and other representations relating to the Order must be made in writing to the undersigned by 11 May 2018, and objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.  Any representations made should specify the title of the Order and may become available for public inspection.
