Permanent traffic order

Notice is hereby given that Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council proposes to make the following Traffic Regulation Orders in accordance with the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council

(Armthorpe Drive area, Little Sutton) (20mph speed limit) Order 2018

The effect of the Order will be to introduce a 20 mph speed limit on the following lengths of road:
  • Armthorpe Drive, Askrigg Avenue, Black Lion Lane, Cawood Close, Dudleston Road, Dunmore Crescent, Dunmore Road, Elland Drive, Highfield Road, Hookstone Drive, Horbury Gardens, Ledsham Road Service Road, Scotton Avenue and Starbeck Drive.

(Berwick Road and Meadowbank Drive, Little Sutton)  (20mph speed limit) Order 2018


The effect of the Order will be to introduce a 20mph speed limit on the following lengths of road:
  • Berwick Road between its junctions with Hillcrest Road and Meadowbank Drive, and Meadowbank Drive.

(Capenhurst Lane, Capenhurst) (20mph and 30mph speed limits) Order 2018


The effect of the Order will be to:

(i)     Introduce a 20 mph speed limit on the following lengths of road:
  • Capenhurst Lane from a point 22 metres east of its junction with Rectory Lane to a point 290 metres west of its junction with Dunkirk Lane, and Manor Farm Crescent.
(ii)    Introduce a 30 mph speed limit on Capenhurst Lane from a point 45 metres west of its junction with Dunkirk Lane for a distance of 245 metres in a westerly direction.

(New School Lane, Childer Thornton) (20mph speed limit) ORDER 2018

The effect of the Order will be to introduce a 20 mph speed limit on New School Lane from its junction with the A41 Chester Road for a distance of 104 metres in a northerly direction.

(Ellesmere Port Central area) (20mph speed limit) Order 2018

The effect of the Order will be to introduce a 20 mph speed limit on the following lengths of road:
  • Arthur Avenue, Cambridge Road between its junctions with Whitby Road and McGarva Way, Central Avenue, Exeter Road, Holly Road, Kingsley Road, Mornington Avenue, Newton Road, Norfolk Road, Park Road between its junctions with McGarva Way and Wellington Road, Stanlaw Road, Stoke Gardens, Tarvin Close, Wellesley Avenue, Wellington Close,  Wellington Road (north-east cul-de-sac) and Wellington Road North.

The effect of the Order will be to introduce a 20 mph speed limit on the following lengths of road:
  • Adam Avenue, Adam Close, Auckery Avenue, Aylesbury Close, Beasley Close, Berry Close, Berry Drive, Braeside Close, Bruce Drive, Calder Way, Chalfield Avenue, Chalfield Close, Collingham Green, Cumberland Grove, Debra Close, Debra Road, Demage Drive, Drummond Avenue, Eden Close, Elaine Close, Gerrard Avenue, Glen Road, Glenathol Road, Glencoe Road from a point  23 metres west of its junction with Gleneagles Road to Harewood Avenue, Glendyke Road, Glenesk Road, Glenmaye Road, Green Lane (cul-de-sac adjacent to numbers 113-121 and 118-128), Green Lane (adjacent to numbers 14-30), Harewood Avenue, Hemsworth Avenue, Howells Avenue, Innisfree Close, James Avenue, Karen Way, Kentridge Drive, Knottingly Drive, Leas Close, Little Green, Mark Avenue, Oakdene Avenue, Pennington Green, Philips Lane, Ross Drive, Skipton Drive, Sunfield Close, The Harn, Thorne Drive, Wheldrake Close and Winsford Grove.

(Gipsy Lane and Grove Road, Mollington) (20mph speed limit) Order 2018


The effect of the Order will be to introduce a 20mph speed limit on the following lengths of road:
  • Gipsy Lane and Grove Road from its junctions with Well Lane and Station Road to a point 166 metres north of its junction with Gipsy Lane.

(Rivacre, Ellesmere Port) (20mph speed limit) Order 2018


The effect of the Order will be to introduce a 20mph speed limit on the following lengths of road:
  • Carlton Crescent, Childwall Court, Childwall Road, Craig Gardens, Croughton Court, Croughton Road, Forest Road, Gateacre Court, Gowy Court, Huxley Court, Plantation Drive, Plemston Court, Rivacre Brow, Stapleford Court, The Breck, Warren Drive, Wellswood Road and Woodacre Road.

Full details of the proposals are in the draft Orders which, together with plans showing the extents of the proposals, may be examined at the Council’s Locality Office, Ellesmere Port Library, Floor 2, Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, CH65 0BG between the hours of 9am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

If you wish to object to any of the proposed Orders, or to any provisions contained in them, you may do so in writing specifying the grounds on which it is made, to the undersigned by 28 September 2018.
