Bike security marking at Delamere Forest

Alert message sent 22/02/2017 13:23:00

Information sent on behalf of Cheshire Constabulary

Cheshire Police will be attending the Delamere Forest Park Visitor Centre on Saturday, 25 February, 2017, between 10am and 3pm for a Bike Security Marking Event.
Where, we will be offering FREE bike security marking, and registration, with the National Data Base, BIKEREGISTER.
The service is free, and, will assist in returning lost, or stolen, bikes to their rightful owners. Another advantage is that, if you were planning to purchase a secondhand bike, you can check on the BIKEREGISTER to see if that bike has been reported stolen, or lost.
The more bike owners that register their bikes, the greater the deterrent it will be to prevent bikes being stolen in the first instance.
