  12th to 21st June 2017   



Incidents reported relating to residential property:



  • Rossmore
  • John Street – Male offenders disturbed trying to kick at front door in an unsuccessful attempt to gain entry.


  • Grange
  • Princes Road – Window pane in rear door smashed and upvc seal ripped off near to lock area.  No entry gained.
 Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:


  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Conway Court – 3 windows at property smashed.
  • Civic Way – 6 glass panel windows of library building damaged by what is believed to be pellets, or similar leaving small holes within the glass.
  • Colwyn Close – At some point during 3 week period unknown offender entered garden of unoccupied property and removed facing boards from the shed and foliage at the back of the fencing has been pushed aside as though someone has been climbing over the fence.  A heavy motor has been left in the centre of the garden which does not belong to the home owner.
  • Rossmore
  • Church Street – Bottle thrown at window causing it to smash.


  • Netherpool
  • Westenra Avenue – Outer pane of living room window smashed by unknown means.
  • Grange
  • Bishops Gardens – Small double glazed kitchen window, to rear of property smashed by unknown means.
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:


  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Thornton Road – Entry gained into insecure garden and CBoardman road bike in black and yellow taken after lock removed by unknown means.


  • Grange
  • Pooltown Road – Offenders have accessed from of residential property and removed 2 hanging baskets using an unknown tool to cut through cable ties which had held them fastened to wall brackets.
Vehicle Crime 

Incidents reported relating to theft/attempt theft of motor vehicles:


  • Grange
  • Aldgate – VW Boro, MD03 HUG taken from residential driveway by unknown means.

Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt theft from motor vehicles:


  • Parkgate
  • Earle Drive – Secure Vauxhall Vivaro has near side sliding door jemmied open and Stihl petrol grinder with diamond blade and Dewalt bench saw taken.
  • The Parade – 2 separate reports of vehicle being entered.  1st - Hyundai, parked in car park near to ‘Boat House’ has near side window smashed and handbag taken. – Handbag recovered from nearby bushes. 2nd – Ford Focus has boot entered by unknown means.  Purse removed from within a rucksack and another backpack containing house/car keys taken.

Incidents reported relating to damage to motor vehicles:



  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Oldfield Road – VW Golf, parked at roadside damaged by unknown means leaving a crack in the windscreen.
  • Whitby Road – Ford Fiesta, parked in the alley way to the rear of food outlet approached by 2 offenders who, using an unknown object punctured the front offside tyre and made a scratched bonnet. – 2 named female suspects.
  • Rossmore
  • Ross Road – Renault Modus and Peugeot 307, parked within grounds of repair garage have wing mirror knocked off. – CCTV shows 3 young male offenders.


  • Sutton
  • Bebington Road – Skoda Fabia, parked at roadside has paint thrown over body work. – Named suspect.
