Ellesmere Port & Neston News Bulletin
28th August to 1st September 2017


 Incidents reported relating to residential property:


  • Parkgate
  • Buggen Lane – Unknown offender has reached in through a small insecure window to open a larger window to gain entry into the property. Untidy search made within but nothing believed to have been taken. – Male offender arrested and charged. 
Incidents reported relating to outbuildings/garden:
  • Parkgate
  • Parkgate Road – Hasp forced off garden shed to gain entry.  Petrol strimmer, electric hedge trimmer and 2 trays of screws taken from within.
Criminal Damage

Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:


  • St. Pauls
  • Fulwood Road – 2 boys have walked up the driveway of a residential property and ripped up plants from plant pots and thrown them into the road, damaging plants and pots.
  • Woodchurch Lane – Half brick thrown through front living room window by 2 unknown males.

Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:


  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Cheshire Oaks – 2 separate reports received during this reporting period.  1st - Black mountain bike, with white forks taken from outside the Guest Services area by 2 unknown youths. 2nd – Grey and white Carrera Vengeance mountain bike, secured to bike stand by information office taken after lock removed by unknown means. – Recovered behind ‘Giraffe’ with damage to drinks holder.
  • Stanney Lane – Black Carrera mountain bike, secured in bike shed at ‘Ellesmere Port Sports Village’ has lock sawn off before being taken. 
  • St. Pauls
  • Parklands – Insecure dark blue Voodoo mountain bike taken from rear residential garden after entry gained via garden gate.
Vehicle Crime

Incidents reported relating to theft/attempt theft of motor vehicles:


  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Wellington Road – Blue Vauxhall Corsa, MT58 HYJ, parked on car park of Asda entered by unknown means and taken.
Incidents reported relating to damage to motor vehicles:
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Kinsey Road – Vauxhall Zafira in car park of ‘Old Hall Farm’ has windscreen cracked by stone thrown by youth. – Named suspect.
