Ellesmere Port & Neston News Bulletin
18th to 24th November 2017
 Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Glen Road – Patio window smashed and locks attacked on conservatory at rear of property to gain entry. 
  • St. Pauls
  • Chester Road – Entry gained through insecure rear kitchen door.  Search made within and watches and purse taken along, with a black and red Carrera mountain bike which the male offender left on having been disturbed by occupant. 
Incidents reported relating to OUTBUILDINGS/GARDENS:
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Highfield Road – Padlock smashed off shed in an unsuccessful attempt to gain entry. 
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Heath Lane – Metal containers in car park of ‘Brook Meadow Hotel’ entered after locks broken off.  Stihl hedge cutter, chainsaw, strimmer, leaf blower and Wolf jet wash taken.
  • St. Pauls
  • Eagle Lane – Garage entered via an insecure door. Green Carrera Abyss 2 and Black Specialized mountain bike taken along with contents of fridge freezer.
  • Sutton
  • Hope Farm Road – Insecure garage entered and childs bike, jack hammer drill in case and Titan drill taken.
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Langley Court – Object thrown at front window of property causing it to smash. 
  • Grange
  • Stamford Street – Glue put into door locks. – Named suspect.  
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Cheshire Oaks Outlet Village – Secure Trek Excalibur mountain bike in black taken from the rear of ‘Wagamama’.
  • Whitby
  • Stanney Lane – Carrera mountain bike locked up at ‘David Lloyd’ leisure taken by unknown means, along with the lock.
  • Stanney Lane – Giant Palon bike in red and white taken, having been secured in bikes shed area at ‘Ellesmere Port Sports Village’ after lock cut off.
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft/attempt THEFT OF motor vehicles:

  • Netherpool
  • North Road – Number of vehicles targeted whilst parked on the employee car park at ‘Vauxhalls’ during the early hours of the morning. 2 bikes - Honda CBR in blue, FM06 RGO and black scooter, MX11 FCP taken by unknown means. 2 bikes – Honda CBR 1000 has front brake disc bent out of shape and yellow disc lock damage and Suzuki GSF 750 has clutch snapped off. – Another Suzuki taken from one section of car park recovered by Police having been abandoned on another part of car park.
  • St. Pauls
  • Windways – Blue Honda VRF 750, R625 OHH, chained up outside residential property taken by unknown means.
  • Pound Road – Attempt made to take a silver Piaggio scooter causing alarm to sound.  Offender/s have left area having damaged the steering column.
  • Parklands – Yamaha MT, DK16 GXU, parked outside property taken by unknown means.
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Milton Road – Vauxhall Zafira, parked on driveway has drivers window forced to gain entry and a wallet taken from within. 
Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Cheshire Oaks – Range Rover, parked in car park area near to the multi-storey car park keyed along its side.
  • Rossmore
  • Alexandra Street – Audi A6 has wing mirror snapped off by unknown offender.*
  • George Street – BMW 320 has nearside wing mirror smashed.*
  • Edward Street – BMW has nearside wind mirror pulled off.* - All believed to have been caused by same offender/s. 
  • Neston
  • Frobisher Road – Vauxhall Zafira has front nearside wheel arch kicked causing a dent. – Named suspect.
  • Grange
  • Faraday Road – Nissan juke, Parked on residential driveway scratched along entire side of vehicle by unknown offender.
