13th to 21st January 2018
 Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:
  • Whitby
  • Lundy Drive – Unknown offenders enter rear garden during afternoon period.  Attempt to gain entry via rear kitchen window.  Make off when disturbed by home owner who bangs on upstairs window.
  • Rossmore
  • Crescent Road – Entry gained via insecure front door whilst occupants in lounge.  Offender/s have gone upstairs and made an untidy search of bedroom.  Nothing believed to have been taken. 
  • St. Pauls
  • Sheepfield Close – Entry gained into ground floor flat bedroom having removed the beading from around the window.  Nothing believed to have been taken. 
Incidents reported relating to OUTBUILDINGS/GARDENS:
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Highfield Road – Rear garden accessed by removing padlock on gate.  Padlock to shed removed and black Boardman 29 pro, Norco Fluid and white mountain bike, along with 8 metal detectors taken,
  • Strawberry
  • Redwood Drive – Unknown offender/s have accesses integrated garage roof and removed a number of roof tiles, piling them to one side before cutting through the protective felt and causing damage to the wooden beam underneath.  No entry gained. 
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Elm Road – Lock forced off garage door to gain entry.  Tidy search made within but nothing believed to have been taken.
  • St. Pauls
  • Seymour Drive – Tennant has arrived at garage and been unable to gain entry due to their lock having been cut off and replaced with another.  Council have no knowledge of this and have removed the lock.  Upon checking the garage they find a suitcase containing clothes, Xbox games and equipment has been taken. 
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:
  • Neston
  • Sytchcroft – 3 male teenagers set alight park bench before running off towards Raby Park Road.  Fire went out on its own but has caused slight damage to bench.
  • Parkgate
  • Parkgate Road – Small hole made into outer pane of window glass, with unknown implement causing it to splinter.
  • Parkside Close – Rear patio door shattered by unknown means.
  • St. Pauls
  • Parklands – Unknown male and female have approached residential property and thrown eggs causing damage.
  • Sutton
  • Overpool Road – Front window smashed by rock.
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Whilst shopping to Town Centre purse removed from bag by unknown means.  Cash card shown as being used.
  • Rossmore
  • Station Road – Unknown male has walked over garage forecourt to pump and filled a can with unleaded fuel before walking off making no attempt to pay.
  • Worcester Walk – Ruck sack containing school equipment, IPhone 6, IPod and PE kit, placed on floor at rear of address whilst occupant has been locking up bike taken. – CCTV shows male offender picking up bag and walking off towards Westminster Estate. 
  • Parkgate
  • The Anchorage – Entry gained into rear garden by unknown means and cast iron garden chair taken.
  • Netherpool
  • North Road – Dark grey Marin mountain bike with yellow block writing on taken from secure area inside factory.
  • St. Pauls
  • Heywood Road – Quantity of fishing equipment including GPS, radio and screen after unknown offender/s have removed the cover from a fishing boat parked on a residential driveway.
  • Grange
  • Regent Street – Samsung S7 removed by unknown offender. No further details.
  • Sutton Way - Provisional driving licence, and cash removed from backpack at some point whilst at West Cheshire College by unknown offender.
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Stanney Lane – Vauxhall Astra has rear windscreen wiper damaged and scratches made into the bonnet by an unknown implement.
  • Whitby Road – Vauxhall Astra has nearside tyre cut and front wiper blades removed. – Named offender.
  • Rugby Road – Fiat Panda has offside wiper arm cut from vehicle. 
  • Neston
  • Gladstone Road – 2 unknown youths have caused damage to 2 vehicles.  Ford Focus has wing mirrors damaged.  No details of the 2nd vehicle at this time.
  • Sutton
  • Baker Drive – Ford Galaxy, parked on driveway front nearside tyre damaged.
