Burglary
 Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Whitby
  • Deeside – Entry gained via insecure front door.  Christmas presents removed from under tree and mobile phone taken from couch. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • St. Pauls
  • Parklands – Male offender breaks snap lock of kitchen window in order to gain entry but makes off having been disturbed by occupant. – Male arrested and charged.
Incidents reported relating to OUTBUILDINGS/GARDENS:
 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Mill Lane – During overnight period on the ‘Oaktree Court Business Park’ a padlock to the front door of a large outbuilding containing 8 individual pods has been removed to gain access.  Once inside offenders/s have removed and dismantled the alarm before removing a further 2 padlocks to individual pods.  Nothing believed to have been taken.
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Rossmore
  • Jacks Woods Avenue – Window smashed, possibly by a stray football.
  • Edward Street – Damage caused to fencing by large tree being cut down in neighbouring property. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Parkgate
  • Sandheys – Living room window smashed by a stone.
Theft
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Sutton
  • Dolphin Crescent – Wooden owl sculpture on concrete base taken by unknown offenders from Meadow Park.
  • Grange
  • Sutton Way – Dark green and orange Carrera mountain bike, secures to bike rack at West Cheshire College taken by unknown means.
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft/attempt THEFT OF motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Wellington Road – Black moped, PX11 PVL taken from Asda car park.  Moped seen being pushed along Tarvin Close by 3 unknown males where it is abandoned. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Grange
  • Sutton Way – Peugeot scooter, ML02 ONJ, taken from outside property.
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Rossmore
  • Westminster Road – Vauxhall Vectra , parked on carpark area behind residential properties has  both front and rear registration plates, showing SB07 HPV taken by unknown offender. – Plates used on a Silver Renault Cabriolet to obtain fuel without payment from Shell Garage, Station Road on 21st January at around 1pm. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Berwick Hotel – Van parked on car park of hotel has side doors forced open by unknown means and 3 x tool boxes, welding machines, various cordless tools and batteries and Bosche digital leveller taken.
  • Netherpool
  • North Road – During the hours of darkness unknown offenders have entered factory compound by unknown means. Diesel fuel has been removed from 3 lorries. 
Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Croft Court – Secure VW Golf, parked on residential driveway has rear passenger window damaged by an unknown implement leaving scratch marks.
  • Whitby
  • Woodland Road – Black Honda 125cc, parked on car park of ‘Woodlands’ public house pushed over causing damage to the bike stand and left hand brake lever. – CCTV shows offenders to have been pupils from Whitby High School.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Neston
  • Churchill Court – Talbot motor home has brick or stones thrown at rear window causing the outer pane to smash.
Other incidents of note…
  • Blackeys Lane, Neston – 14 year old male approached by 3 male offenders who after pushing and assaulting the youth steal his shoes and demand money whilst making threats. – 3 offenders arrested.
