Burglary
 
Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Wetherby Way – 2 reports of burglary during the early hours of Sunday morning. – 1st Entry gained into property by damaging the lock on a rear door.  Laptop taken from within. 2nd – 3 males disturbed trying to break the lock on the door to the property before running off. - Believed to be linked to other burglaries during early hours on Sunday.
  • Starbeck Drive – Rear patio doors have the lock snapped to gain entry. Untidy search made of ground floor and leys to a grey Nissan Juke, DG67 YPE taken along with the vehicle. – Believed to be linked to other burglaries during early hours on Sunday.
  • Manor Park Drive – Lock snapped on rear patio door to gain entry.  Search made in kitchen and garage but nothing is believed to have been taken. – CCTV shows 3 male offenders using a White VW Golf, reported stolen from Merseyside – Believed to be linked to other burglaries during early hours on Sunday.
  • Bristol Drive – Lock snapped off kitchen door to gain entry.  Offended disturbed by home owner and ran off in direction of ‘Wirral One Hundred’ public house. – Believed to be linked to other burglaries during early hours on Sunday.
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Chester Road – Window panel in rear door smashed to gain entry. Untidy search made and televisions, laptop, mobile phone, KTM mountain bike and keys to a keys to a black Jaguar, DE67 XDK, along with the vehicle which had been parked in a detached garage at the property. – Vehicle recovered, along with property. - 2 males and 1 female arrested.
  • Moss Close – Entry gained via rear patio door where lock has been drilled out. Search made of ground floor but nothing taken. 
Incidents reported relating to BUSINESS premises:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Rossmore
  • Frome Court – Female kicks open locked office door at premises causing damage to the lock.  Cash taken. – Named suspect. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • St. Pauls
  • Tarporley Road – Rear door of ‘St. Saviours Church’ approached where offender/s have made an unsuccessful attempt to gain entry. Alarm has sounded and 2 people have been seen running off.
Theft
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Rossmore
  • Station Road – Unknown offender has approached a vehicle on the car park of ‘Westminster Retail Park’ and taken a tool box which was left by the side of the vehicle.
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft/attempt THEFT OF motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Starbeck Drive – Grey Nissan Juke, DG67 YPE taken after keys obtained during a burglary – Linked to other burglaries during early hours on Sunday.
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Chester Road – Black Jaguar, DE67 XDK, taken after keys obtained during a burglary. – Vehicle recovered. - 2 males and 1 female arrested.
  • St. Pauls
  • Parklands View – Vauxhall Corsa, SB13 YJW found having had the keys taken during a burglary at Fenwick Road last week. 
Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Strawberry
  • Lancers Croft – Suzuki Swift has all 4 tyres damaged. – Named suspect.
