Burglary
Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Princes Road – A white Citroen van has pulled up outside properties on Princes Road and the male occupants have knocked at a few addresses enquiring as to whether occupants want their gutters cleaning.  One of the males enters a property via the front door which was slightly ajar and having been disturbed at the top of the stairs by the occupant leaves empty handed. 
Incidents reported relating to BUSINESS premises:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Whitby Road – report received stating 2 males had been seen scaling the fencing to the old ‘Snooker Club’ where they entered the building, then left with power leads and tools.  A burglary report has been taken but unsure what items have been taken at this time.
  • Coronation Road – Entry gained into compound yard of car cleaning business, by scaling outer fencing.  Lock broken on door to out building to gain entry and cash taken from within
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Rossmore
  • Imperial Mews – Brick thrown through window. – male and female arrested. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Ledsham Road – Wheat damaged by male and young female child walking through fields.
  • Ben Nevis Drive – Garage door damage when delivery driver has forced it open to leave a package.
 
Theft
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Whitby Road – Black BMW or Audi, obtained £24.71 of Diesel before making off without payment from ‘Shell’ service station.
  • Rossmore
  • Station Road – Honda Accord, FG07 UBC obtained £40.00 of fuel from ‘Shell’ before making off without payment. – Same vehicle obtained fuel from the Shell’ in Neston day earlier.
  • Aire Close – Blue and green Carrera mountain bike, secured to fence in rear garden taken by unknown offender. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Neston
  • Chester High Road – Honda Accord, FG07 UBC obtained £40.39 of fuel from ‘Shell’ before making off without payment. – Same vehicle obtained fuel from the ‘Shell’ in Ellesmere Port the day after.
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • St. Pauls
  • Queens Road – Front and rear registration plates, displaying YE06 LSN taken from a Vauxhall Astra.
Other incidents of note…
  • Overpool Road – Black and green Orbea mountain bike taken from male after he has been threatened to hand it over.
  • Luton Road – Toyota Avensis, NM07 HGJ, found having been reported stolen.
