Burglary
Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Whitby
  • Chester Road – Access gained to rear of property via garden gate.  Unsuccessful attempt has been made to force patio doors, which has disturbed the occupant. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Neston
  • Shakespeare Road – Glass in window of front door, next to lock smashed.  No entry gained.
  • Parkgate
  • Chester High Road – Rear garden of property entered and lower glass pane in kitchen door smashed to gain access.  Untidy search made and meat cleaver, music memorabilia and set of keys removed from a coat in the hallway.  Roller shutter garage doors forced open and Mini Clubman, L6 BJK taken.
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Roxburgh Road – Lock damaged in kitchen door in an attempt to gain entry activating alarm.
  • St. Pauls
  • Delamere Avenue – Rear garden entered and window in conservatory forced open to enter property.  Keys to 3 vehicles taken.  Renault Traffic, CK16 CEU then taken from the road outside the keys obtained from the house. 
Incidents reported relating to OUTBUILDINGS/GARDENS:
 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Netherpool
  • Straker Avenue – Rear garden entered by removing fence panel.  Offenders have then approached the property and placed a flammable object over the security lights motion sensor before lighting it, causing it to become inactive.  Bolt croppers have then been used to remove the padlock on the doors of a detached garage. An off road Yamaha WR 500 in blue and white with gold wheels taken.  The offenders have then cut the padlock off the gates to leave the garden.  
  • St. Pauls
  • Whetstone Hey – Bolt croppers used to cut padlock off garage door. Blue Yamaha YZF250 and pitt bike taken.  Pitt bike later discovered abandoned in the road.
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Flatt Lane – Unknown youths have thrown a stone at the kitchen window of the ‘Saffron’ Restaurant causing the glass to smash.
  • Coliseum Way – Group of youths within cinema arcade area smash the screen on one of the gaming machines. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Grange
  • Regent Street – Barrier to college snapped in half.
Theft
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Marina Walk – 2 male offenders disturbed messing with a Boardman Hybrid bike, which had been secured near to Home and Bargain, in a possible attempt to take it.
  • Civic Way – Red Carrera mountain bike, chained up outside library taken.
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft/attempt THEFT OF motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Parkgate
  • Chester High Road - Mini Clubman, L6 BJK taken after keys obtained during a burglary.
  • Netherpool
  • Straker Avenue - Off road Yamaha WR 500 in blue and white with gold wheels taken from a garage burglary.
  • St. Pauls
  • Delamere Avenue - Renault Traffic, CK16 CEU taken after keys obtained from the house in burglary.
  • Whetstone Hey - Blue Yamaha YZF250 bike taken from a garage burglary, no further details.
  • Parklands View – Red and white Yamaha YFZ R125, YC65 LLX taken by unknown offender/s,
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Wellington Road – Skoda Fabia, parked on car park by market hall has both front and rear registration plates, PK56 PSO taken. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Ledsham Road – Insecure Peugeot Partner van has Stihl hedge cutter and chainsaw removed from within. 
Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Fotheringay Court – Vauxhall Corsa has both nearside tyres slashed and paint thrown over vehicle.
  • Strawberry
  • Wakefield Road – Vauxhall Astra has 4 large, deep scratches made into the body work.
  • Rossmore
  • Percival Road – Wheelie bin pushed alongside of vehicle scratching it. – Named suspect.
  • Nelson Road – Vauxhall Corsa has windscreen and offside front window smashed.
  • Ure Court – Window of van, no further details, smashed.  Neighbour witnessed unknown offenders making an unsuccessful attempt to get in before they ran off. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Neston
  • Brookdale Road – Ford KA, DE05 HLP, parked at repair garage taken. – CCTV shows the vehicle being placed onto a recovery vehicle and removed.
  • Parkgate
  • The Cross – Padlocked gate climbed over to access rear of property.  Range Rover has the front and rear windscreens smashed and a Kia has a window smashed. 
  • Netherpool
  • Himalayan Birch Close – BMW 420 scratched along the offside doors. – Named suspect.
