Ellesmere Port & Neston Police News Bulletin
17th to 23rd March 2019
 If you have any CCTV, dash cam footage, etc., that you think may have captured something of relevance in relation to any of the below incidents, further information such as dates and times can be provided.
 Incidents reported relating to BUSINESS premises:
  • Neston
  • Buildwas Road – Compound entered by unknown means and white Transit Tipper, NC56 FKJ taken after forcing exit via the compound gates. 
Incidents reported relating to OUTBUILDINGS/GARDENS:
  • Neston
  • Lees Lane – 3 poultry houses entered after the bolts securing the doors were removed.  Entry may have also been attempted at a fourth. Not known if anything has been taken at this time.
 Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

  • St. Pauls
  • Eccleston Avenue – Window in side door to property smashed by unknown offender as well as Hyundai X35, parked outside having the windscreen smashed.
  • Sutton
  • Sutton Way – White Transit pulled up outside address and 3 males got out of the vehicle and started to smash windows at the address before driving off towards the town centre.
 Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Cambridge Road – ‘Tropicana’ sunbed shop entered and whilst staff member distracted unknown offender has removed cash tin from behind the till area.
  • Rossmore
  • Joseph Groom Towers – Blue running shoes, left outside front door due to being covered in mud taken.
 Vehicle Crime
 Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT OF motor vehicles:

  • Rossmore
  • Ure Court – Black Sym XS125, PF08 TNK, secured at rear gate area of property has steering lock snapped and is wheeled away by male offender.  Owner has been alerted to noise outside and the male has dropped the bike and run off.
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:

  • Little Neston and Burton
  • The Green – VW Golf, parked at roadside entered by unknown means and Sony headphones taken from the glovebox and bottle of pink gin taken from boot.
  • Talbot Avenue – Audi A3 entered by unknown means and tools and cds taken.
  • Parkgate
  • The Parade – 2 separate reports received over time frame of this bulletin.
    • Mercedes, parked outside residential address has badge/logo pulled off boot.
    • Vauxhall Agila has rear nearside window smashed and handbag taken from the boot. 
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • West Vale – Mercedes, parked at roadside has front and rear drivers side tyres slashed.
  • St. Pauls
  • Eccleston Avenue – Hyundai X35, parked outside has windscreen smashed. Damage also caused to window in the side door of the property.
  • Grange
  • Joan Bartlett Close – Hyundai Ioniq has damage caused to drivers door in what appears to have been an unsuccessful attempt to enter vehicle.  Door has been left dented.
 Other Incidents of Note.....
  • Sutton - Knifepoint Robbery - At approx. 4.20am an unknown male offender entered the ‘BP’ garage and placed items into a cardboard box on the floor. He has then approached the cashier and requested cigarettes.  When they have turned back to him he has been holding a large kitchen knife.  Cigarettes taken and placed into box with other items before the male left the premises.
