Your bank or the police will NEVER:
  1. Phone and ask you for your PIN code or full banking password
  2. Ask you to withdraw money to hand over to them for safekeeping
  3. Ask you to transfer money to a safe account for fraud reasons, even if they say that the account is in your name
  4. Send someone to your home to collect cash, PIN codes, cards of chequebooks if you are a victim of fraud
  5. Ask you to buy goods using your card and then hand them over for safekeeping

If you are a victim of fraud that is a crime in progress and you need an immediate police response, dial 999

If it is a non-emergency situation, call Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040
