Ellesmere Port & Neston Police News Bulletin
24 to 28 August 2020
If you have any CCTV, dash cam footage, etc., that you think may have captured something of relevance in relation to any of the below incidents, further information such as dates and times can be provided.
Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Stanney Lane – Whilst having some maintenance work completed at property front and rear doors left insecure.  Home owner has then noticed his wallet has been taken.
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Ledsham Road – Entry gained in to two mews houses under construction during overnight period.  Boxes within have been broken up and a fire started using these and hand gel.
  • Grange
  • Mallory Road – Attempt made to force open door causing damage to door.  No entry gained.
Incidents reported relating to BUSINESS premises:
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Cheshire Oaks – Unknown offenders enter Yo! Sushi and gain entry to locked fridge where items are removed and taken.
  • St. Pauls
  • Whetstone Hey – Lock on outer door of ‘Great Sutton Pizza and Kebab Shop’ broken off. Used oil taken.
Incidents reported relating to OUTBUILDINGS/GARDENS:
  • Rossmore
  • Crescent Road – Three sheds, on allotment have had locks forced off and the sides of the sheds kicked through.  Various power tools taken.
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Coliseum Way – Youths have entered ‘Ten Pin’ and caused damage to a light by kicking a football about.
  • Cheshire Oaks – Group of youths within ‘McDonalds’ have damaged signage.
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:

  • Whitby
  • Woodsome Road – Peugeot Partner van, parked at roadside has drivers side quarter light window smashed so offender/s can reach through to open door.  Offender disturbed and nothing taken.
  • Pembridge Court – Entry gained into Peugeot van by unknown means. Quantity of tools taken, including multi tools, impact driver and sds drill.
  • Neston
  • Churchill Way – Ford Fiesta has both registration plates, showing SB60 OVH taken.
