Attempted Burglary Dwelling – Storey Road.
Burglary Dwelling – Shed break on Oak Bank, Newtown, gardening tools stolen. Neighbour also had their garage broken into, but nothing was stolen.
Attempt Burglary Dwelling – The handle of an outbuilding was found snapped on Buxton Road.
Theft from motor vehicle – number plates were stolen from a vehicle on The Ridgeway.

Make sure your property’s security is in use and up to date, desirable items are out of sight and report any suspicious incidents to us via 101 or 999 in an emergency.

Burning the locks off French doors is becoming a more prevalent method of entry particularly on PVC doors found on many new build properties. There are ways to deter this method of entry including the use of a PATLOCK if you have double French doors or changing your locks to anti-snap locks.
