Boughton April 2021

Alert message sent 30/04/2021 08:36:00

Information sent on behalf of Cheshire Constabulary

I just thought I would send you all a message in regards to what has been happening in Boughton for this month and the main areas of concern.

There has been some issues reported at Waitrose in regards to boy racers and we have been working hard with the store along with local CCTV to get the car registrations and we are going to deal with them appropriately in due course once we have managed to obtain their details.

There has been some incidents reported at the Co-op on Christeton Road in regards to shoplifting. We have managed to identify the person who has been doing this and will be getting in contact with their parents due to their behaviour.

Speed enforcement has been completed on Tarvin Road, Boughton and Sandy Lane over this last month. 2 were recorded over the 30mph speed limit on Boughton with the highest at 49mph. 2 were recorded over the 30mph limit on Tarvin Road with highest at 36mph and on Sandy Lane no vehicles were recorded over the limit.

Meetings have been taking place with the council in regards to the parking issues on Cherry Grove Road. I feel at the minute as there is a staggered finish time this has helped alleviate the issues but I will continue to monitor in case it gets worse again as the weather gets worse.

Thank you
