July 2021 incidents of note in Disley

Burglary – On 19th July at approximately 14.00 a property on Buxton Road near the junction of Redhouse Lane was broken into. The offender/s broke the window of the back door to gain entry. It is believed that the offender/s were disturbed by the homeowner returning home. Only a pillowcase was missing from the property. A suspicious vehicle was parked across the driveway of the property when the homeowner returned home.

Attempted Garage Break – During the night of the 23rd July offender/s have attempted to gain entry to a garage on Redhouse Lane near the junction of Waterside Road. A security light was damaged, but nothing was taken.

Make sure your doors, windows and cars are locked, your property’s security is in use and up to date, and desirable items are out of sight. Report any suspicious incidents to us via 101 or 999 if the suspicious activity is happening at the time of calling.

4th 19.00 to 20.00 Wednesday
14th 19.00 to 20.00 Saturday
19th 10.00 to 11.00 Thursday
29th 10.00 to 11.00 Sunday

Surgeries will be held online via social media accounts and in the Police room at Disley Community Centre.
